| The TS956C Fiber Identifier Kit contains the TS756C Fiber
Identifier Transmitter, the TS856C Fiber Identifier Receiver, one
ST II to ST II jumper, one ST II to Keyed Biconic jumper, and one
Macrobend Fixture all packaged in a waterproof hardside carrying
case. This kit provides everything needed to identify fibers in a
multi-fiber cable. This kit uses a 1550 nm laser to launch a 2-KHz
modulated signal into one end of an optical fiber. The included
receiver indicates 2-KHz signal detection by emitting a tone from a
buzzer while lighting a green LED. The included Macrobend
Fixture allows signal detection without access to the end of the
optical fiber. |
