The model 9500 1/16th DIN Process Controller is designed to be easy-to-use, low-cost and reliable. The auto-tune program makes P.I.D. control a snap. Press a few buttons and the controller will self-tune and
automatically select the optimum P.I.D. settings. Also, the overshoot problem that has plagued conventional P.I.D. control is minimized with CAL’s unique dAC function. The 9500
controller can be used for any process such as temperature, flow, level or pressure control. With the available communication options you can network several 9500 controllers together to
control and data-log a complete application. Another important feature of the 9500 is charting and logging, using CALCOMMS software for windows. You can connect up to 128
controllers by RS485 into any PC. This can simplify set-up by allowing a user to program all functions of the controller from a PC. Additionally, a data-log of the recorded process
signal can be charted. This is ideal for manufacturing reporting, quality control or for health and safety purposes. |
